We work closely with the British Horse Society and UK Coaching to provide a range of nationally recognised and regulated qualifications in coaching and equine.

Regulated Qualifications

We have a range of regulated qualifications available to our learners. These qualifications are on the Regulated Qualifications Framework and so are recognised in the equestrian industry and in all aspects of your continued professional development. Assisting with Basic Care of Horses 

Entry 2

Understand the basic care needs of horses. Demonstrate some simple tasks in caring for horses.

Catching & Leading, Grooming and Rugging Up a Horse

Entry 3

Develop a basic understanding of managing the horse and performing basic tasks.

Tack Room

Recognising, Putting on and Cleaning a Saddle and Bridle

Entry 3

Demonstrate how to put on and clean horses' tack and equipment for riding.

Diploma in Work Based Horse Care

Level 1

Demonstrate a professional standard of care for horses in their daily care routine.

Award in Equestrian Coaching 

Level 1

Understand the safety parameters of an equestrian coaching session. Assist in delivering a coaching session.

Equine Groom Diploma 

Level 2

Gives learners the knowledge, confidence, and skills to care for horses and carry out general stable management routines as an equine groom with a focus on riding.

Nationally Recognised Certification

Working closely with the British Horse Society we offer training towards a range of BHS Certifications that are recognised nationally as evidence of industry experience. With over 16 different pathways to choose from there is a certification to cover all aspects of horse care and riding.

BHS Ride Safe Award

This unique BHS Ride Safe Award is dedicated to educating riders on how to ride safely with horses in the arena and on the road. Its purpose is to educate riders to help save lives and make the roads safer.

This is endorsed by the Department of British Transport and is necessary for any student wanting to start horse riding as a hobby or profession. The BHS Is a recognised body across the UK and internationally with the award recognised by employers within the industry. 

BHS Challenge Awards

The BHS has sixteen different educational pathways for students to choose from. Each pathway is focused on either horse care or horse riding. These awards are perfect for students that are not pursuing the regulated qualification pathway or are looking to supplement their qualifications.
