Volunteering
There are lots of exciting opportunities for you to get involved with us. We have a lot of horses under our care and rely on our great team and volunteers to ensure they get the care and attention they deserve. If you are passionate about caring for horses and are looking for ways to stay fit, active, and enjoy the outdoors then get in touch and find out how you can get involved with volunteering.
What You Need to Know
As you are preparing to volunteer at our center, here are some things you might want to know.
Equipment to bring:

Normal riding gear
-
It is sometimes preferred to use walking boots with chaps than riding boots as you will be doing a lot of walking.

Waterproof jacket

Mobile phone and emergency contact card

A bottle of water or drinks for the day. There is a water fountain on site and a vending machine.

Lunch and snacks for the day

Bring any medications such as inhalers along with you.

You will be shown the daily routine at the center. You can get involved in:

Mucking Out

Grooming

Tacking Up

After exercise care

Daily medical treatments

Feed and watering
