A two/three day Trail Ride to Coniston
We begin our journey from the centre riding out Through 'Grizedale Forest', stopping mid way for a pub lunch. Over Coniston Fells taking in the stunning views to arrive in Coniston for our overnight stay at 'Lakeland House' Bed and Breakfast. The horses are accomodated overnight in a local field. The next day we ride out under the foot of Coniston Old Man to Torver and onwards over Lowick Fell again we stop over at a very nice 'Horse Friendly' pub the - Royal Oak at Spark Bridge where the food is good and the hospitality excellent.
The afternoon is usually spent with a steady return to Bigland. This ride can be extended to include a third day round Windermere to make a full weekend of it.

For nightly stop overs we can either pre-arrange accommodation and luggage transportation ahead for you, or we can drive out and bring you back to your prebooked accommodation near to our Equestrian Centre. We of course also pre arrange overnight accommodation for your trusted steed with feed and lodgings.
We have a vast knowledge of all the bridleways and open riding in all of the Lake District so we can literally plan rides to suit your desired riding terrain and culmianate in end of day riding at accommodation to suit you and your party.
All trial rides are planned to meet your individual needs so please call and let us arrange a holiday to remember.
