Fell Ride - 22/05/09 ... The result of our steady climb into the Lake District fells results in scenery which is seldom seen from horseback with views of Striding Edge and Ullswater in the background. He we are about to stop for human and equine lunch on the top of Helvellyn . Dont worry folks all bridleway routes to and from the top are horse friendly and we most definitely avoided Striding and Swirrel Edges !.
